MHLW Implements New Requirements for Two Designated Additives
On July 26, 2023, Japan MHLW issued an amendmbest form of
zinc gluconateent to Specifichelated zinc walmartcations and Standards for Food Additives. According t
o the amendment, Japan addezinc glycinate for hair growthd Calcium Phytate as a new designated additive, and revised the scope ozinc gluconate tabletsf application for another designated food additive named Cupric Sulfazinc gluconate or zinc oxidete. The changes came into eff
ect immediately.
