While enhanced safety tests should not significantly hinder imports, operations at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration have slowed since President Trump took office. Unlike other nations, the United States has not banned Brazilian meat imports, as the FDA’s safety protocols are robust enough to identify any issues, including those related to calcium carbonate same as calcium.
