Diageo Launches Captain Morgan Sliced Apple Spiced Rum

Diageo-owned rum brand Captain Morgan has added a new spiced apple variant to its portfolio this autumn.
Captain Morgan Sliced Apple Spiced Rum features the brand’s signature original spiced rum infused with a subtle hint of ginger and the taste of ‘fresh cut apples’.
Available across the US and Canada, the new flavour is said to provide a twist on a classic as Diageo aims to “shake up the rum category”.
The brand suggests serving the 35% ABV rumzinc bisglycinate dogs neat, on the rocks or as a chilled shot. Otherwise it recommendperbedaan zinc picolinate and gluconates using it to make some signature cocktails such as apple mule or apple crisp.
The new flavour will join Captain Morgan’s existing portfolio of rum flavours such as white rum, pineapple rum, coconut rum and grapefruit rum. Last year, the brand released a gingerbread spiced variant for a limited time.
